Challenge #6
In your own space, share a favourite piece of original canon (a show, a specific TV episode, a storyline, a book or series, a scene from a movie, etc) and explain why you love it so much.
This was actually a very difficult thing to narrow down! There's so much I could ramble about for so many different shows/books/etc.
Just yesterday, however, I rewatched the end of the inhibitor chips arc in the Clone Wars TV show, and it is once again making me very very sad about the clones and the end of the prequels era. They came so close to discovering and averting Order 66! But not close enough. The tragedy of this episode is just *chef's kiss*. Having read through some of the Republic Commando books I understand why some people would prefer a version of events where the clones act out the contingency orders without the influence of the inhibitor chips, but personally I think it's a concept that works perfectly within the context of the TV series. This whole arc was a fantastic way to introduce it. Always going to be one of the favs.
